Studio M&C and Korea Senior Citizens Association Information Technology Division Sign Agreement for “Senior AI Care Project”
Studio M&C has signed a business agreement with the Information Technology Division of the Korea Senior Citizens Association.
On the 1st, Studio M&C and the Korea Senior Citizens Association Information Technology Division entered into an agreement to promote the Senior AI Care Project and strengthen mutual cooperation. The signing ceremony was attended by Lee Tae-kyung, CEO of Studio M&C, and Choi Woon, Chairman of the Smart Senior Center Policy Committee of the Korea Senior Citizens Association.
Under the agreement, the two organizations will jointly pursue the introduction of the “Senior AI Care Platform” service at Smart Senior Centers, focusing on platform development, overseas expansion, and marketing. Studio M&C will take charge of planning, producing, and supplying AI-related content, while the Korea Senior Citizens Association Information Technology Division will focus on platform operations and securing budgets.
The jointly developed “Senior AI Care Platform” service is based on the Smart Senior Center model created by the Korea Senior Citizens Association to address the health and medical needs of seniors. It is designed around five key elements: telemedicine (remote medical services), healthcare (including health monitoring data), exercise (rehabilitation and prevention), employment information, and entertainment. Once introduced in Smart Senior Centers, the platform is expected to become a core hub for senior care.
Previously, Studio M&C has operated the fandom platform STAR PLANET, which boasts over 7.5 million users, and has produced and supported programs including THE TROT SHOW (produced by SBS Medianet), the Trot Music Awards, and Trot Dae-jeon. Leveraging this experience, the company has been providing content tailored to senior audiences and plans to further diversify its offerings by applying AI technology.
The Korea Senior Citizens Association Information Technology Division, under the slogan “Healthy Life! Happy Life for Seniors!”, will operate a “Smart Senior Center” booth at the upcoming 2025 The Lifestyle Expo (September 25–27). At the booth, STAR PLANET will showcase artist-based AI content such as AI voice guidance and AI singing classes
